Enviromental disaster article found in this week UK's Cage & Avairy Newspaper. More then 200 birds have died due to poisoning from illegal chemical dumping at a landfill site in Western Australia. The killer chemical was Fenthion, which is used to control horticultural pests. Species killed include Ibises, Ravens, Gulls, Ducks and a Pelican. I hope the Australian Government find the culprits and come down heavy on them. Some Companys would dump waste anywhere just to save dollars but it's the Wildlife that need saving. Can you all remember when the Mining company Magellan Metals escaped prosecution in December 2007 when 5,000 birds - including yellow throated miners, honeyeaters and wattlebirds were killed by lead contamination in the town of Esperance. A high level of lead was also found in children and members of the community. How did they get away with that?

This is horrible,Steve. Big Companies hopefully can no longer get away with environmental degradation. The damage to birds and also to people including children is disgusting. from Robert and Precious
