Interesting stuff there. I actually know this woman and her late Gomez from an ekkie forum and the heart ache she went through when losing Gomez for no apparent reason......well she was given no "real" reason for his death. Actually I will correct myself......I don't physically know her......I know her through the internet

Geesh that is terrible Ellen. I have to say I don't think I have ever seen worms in my birds.....least I can't remember it anyway.

I have just a better look at the link and it has so much information. I really enjoyed having a good browse this time. I have learned a bit more (always learning everyday anyway)

You are asking me if I have any pics of Chuckles - are you kidding - I have thousands! Poor Chucky constantly has the camera pointed in her face. I have to transfer them from my computer over to this laptop and I will upload them - you will just have to wait until the Easter rush is finished. And as Trace asked - how is your babe going Shaun?

The chick is going really well! When we pulled it, it weighed 60 something grams, and now it is over 130 grams. It is a fat thing. Starting to get grey down, eyes are open. I will post more pics soon with an update.

Great going Shaun. Sounds like your new little housemate is going great guns! They are a funny shape - that is for sure - and they just seem so helpless, but it is so satisfying watching them grow. Good you're keeping a check on the weight, I find that is the best way to see of the bird is going ok or not.

We keep a record of weight before and after feeds, humidity, temps etc so we know how the chick is going, how much it eats etc. he is 180grams... I'll post a couple of pics after tea. (Hopefully lol) Shaun
