Me neither....actually I don't want to clean up anything as big as a pigeon. I rescued a racing pigeon who fell in the Logan River on Sunday and now it's at home waiting for someone to claim it and holy dooley it does big bird business (I have a piccy of 'Lucky' the pigeon but can only put the card from the camera in the computer at home which now has no internet etc so I'll tell the rescue story soon)

Is it a Bald Eagle ? If so, will you adopt me ? No not a Bald Eagle. Wow! We have two pair of Wedgetail Eagles here at the dam. They are magnificent. Very shy though, I find it difficult to get a good photo of them, so I just carry a very vivid memory of them wherever I go.

OK, 1 more shot ............ Is it a Mrs Frodo ? I wish it was a Mrs Frodo. I would love a pair of blue bonnets. If they weren't quite so aggressive, I could have them in my big aviary with the flights - but only single wiring in there. Might have to do a bit more sweet talking and get some more aviaries built!

No princess parrots - I have six!
I have to say I am getting very tired looking at the empty box here in the house, won't be long now - so I keep telling myself.

Tracey wins - you guessed it. ;D Your present awaits you in the post "Gunski and Chuckles". Mick is always building me something. I love it. He has done all the aviaries himself, I might add there has been a lot of swearing and raged tempers whilst they were being built. He has made me this Shoebox (the one he is sitting on) and it converts to a serving table. The back of the chair lifts up and then he supports it with two rods and it then makes the table. He also built this little cupboard for my clothes dryer to sit on - so I can have it outside. The clothes dryer doesn't get used that much, but it is handy when I do need it. And the little cupboard is handy to store things in. You can never have too many cupboards. Also the last thing which you can see by the photo, is my new half finished outside kitchen (we are waiting on some mini-orb to finish it). I really am spoilt I have to say, but he gets so much satisfaction out of making something. He has never had any training, so I am quite proud. He usually draws himself up a plan on what he is going to make, and then measures it all out so we get the right amount of stuff to make whatever. Becuase we live 40kms from town, we make sure we get it all in one go, that way we aren't doing a 80km round trip to buy something silly like screws. Our shopping day is usually a beauty! Also with the brooder box that he built, that is what we have Chuckles in, and it is fantastic. If you want more info on what he did to make it, let me know.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Mick loved the good looking comment, it brought a big grin to his face. I think my husband is good looking, but then again there isn't much to pick from out here - no just joking. We have been together for 26 years, so I suppose he's allright. When we get the kitchen finished I would love to have everyone together for a BBQ, it would be really great. And yes, my little piece of paradise is a fantastic place to live, the foggy mornings are regular in winter time, but the fog always make for a beautiful day.
