Does anyone have an experience with Insurance? I am considering insuring my stock but have only come across one company that does it and they only insure theft, fire, vandalism; not health. Do you know of anyother companies? (Not sure if I can mention the one I am speaking to on hear - mods please let me know).
Remington have been offering insurance for a long time - but as always read the fine print very carefully - you might not get the cover you hope or expect. I don't know what sort of cover they offer these days but 10 years ago it wasn't worth it for us at least - and don't ask me in what way my memory cells are not what they used to be .
Speaking of floods insurance, apparently Suncorp, is the best one to go with as they cover most of these type of natural disasters. Apparently they got the big thumbs up with the media re the recent floods.

Thanks for that Mike, I'll look into it to see what they don't cover. I'd just really hate it if someone stole my stock period. But what would make matters worse would be that without insurance I probably couldn't afford or justify replacing it.
yes I heard Suncorp get a good rap too because of the recent floods. But as Mike said........read the fine print. Since all these floods and so many people not "being insured" when they thought they were....makes you really wonder if it is worth insuring anything or if we should just bank that money........for a rainy day.
