OMG Tinga went down my PJ top! Have to say I was a little nervous of that beak under there, as a lady doesn't always wear anything under her PJs, but no way I was going to pull him out. He stayed there quite a while & then he snuggled under a blanket with me & by his breathing, I knew he fell asleep. Sweet yellow ball of feathers. That's very cute, obviously not a very cold environment ;D. Cheers, John

Wow! Can I move in to your bird room? Looks perfectly comfy ----- oh, can I bring my mob with me? lol! What a great idea with the garage!! Half your luck girl! I have an outside verandah....which has a roof, but sadly isn't enclosed, or I tell you - it would be exactly like that! I have the cages everywhere and have all these grand idea's but just can't enclose it. We rent the place, have done for 13 years...and I'm not sure how the owner would go if we decided to do some construction work...lol! I can dream and admire your's though!! If I ever come into any serious money......boy! My babies will be sure getting a room to themselves!! lol! and I will get you to come and help me design it too! lol! Thanks for sharing....that's some lucky birdies you have.....

I first thought how sad you cannot have pets in the house - but then realised WOW that is a perfect setup, I suppose you spend more time in the 'garage' than the house lol Hubby isn't fussed on animals in the house either, but I reminded him the he and the kids make more mess than pets, and I don't mind cleaning up after the pets LOL Tinga, Butch and Cheeky are 3 lucky birds to have you as their birdy Mum

Hi Gypsy, yes I spend ALL my spare time in the "garage". Currently lazing on the lounge in here, watching NCIS. The lorikeets are out & about somewhere in here. Tinga is in his cage, although he is much better at coming out these days.
Don't be concerned about the time & that they are still awake. I have tricked their bodies into an artificial clock to suit my schedule, using avian lights on a timer, otherwise I wouldn't see much of them, what with working in the city all day. They still get their full birdie required hours of sleep.
