Hi all --
I know this may be a strange suggestion, but I was wondering if it was possible for someone with a Rainbow lorikeet to post a picture of a feather for me.
I need a good picture because this is going to be my first tattoo.
If you're wondering why --
I used to have one as a pet. Her name was Rayme. She was the coolest bird ever, and I loved her very much. She has since died (the vet said they didn't know what was wrong with her, and it was very sudden), but a couple months ago a friend of mine went to a psychic just for fun. This friend moved to Baltimore a couple years ago (she used to live in Texas, where I live). She talked to the psychic about some things, and then she asked about me because I was going through some tough personal stuff at the time. The psychic told her the basic things, "Plear is having a rough time, but things will get better soon", generic stuff. But then she said "every time I say Plear's name, I see a very colorful bird and the letter R. This bird loves Plear very much and follows her everywhere." My friend didn't even remember Rayme, so she wrote it off. After she left she called me and told me what the psychic said. I was shocked. I don't even believe in psychics or anything like that, and I'm still not completely convinced even after this whole situation, but I've got to admit, it's pretty amazing.
Anyway, that's why I want to get this tattoo, in memory of my Rayme. But I'd like a good picture that I can give to the artist so he knows exactly what to do. It'll be life-sized, and on my arm. The only ones I can find from google images are the little fluffs that fall off sometimes, not really substantial feathers. I need a picture of a tail feather or a feather from the wing or something.
