Sorry I can't remember him - we did see quite a lot of budgies with scaly mite to treat. often 2 or 3 a week would come in, and our treatment cost $2.50 when the vets charged $40 or more!

Glad you liked the shop, we had a lot of fun for many years but times changed - service started to lose out to convenience I'm afraid, and the supermarket pet stores have taken over.

Latest update on the babies is that they started flying a couple of days ago, and have survived the early crash landings. I haven't fed them for several days, with them feeding themselves mostly with a top up from Mom and Dad. Even that is happening less now - which is making Sasha very frustrated as he tries to feed them and they refuse the food.

The first time I have had babies weaned before they took their first flight! They are really nice babies though, are already learning to step up, and don't mind a cuddle.
