Jo-Anne, It is so disappointing to lose one of your flock, heartbreaking.
I'm glad you might be able to replace them.

i know this is probably late but my dad used to breed rosellas,indian ringnecks,cockatiels,and some others but i forget the name we had a blue heeler at the time we weren't home and some guy tryed stealing my dads birds but lucky for us bindi our blue heeler had him barreled up in the corner. it happed again but with my dads motor bike. if the guy got into his aviary he would have had a surprize cause no one but my dad could get near the indian ringneck he would attack anyone that tryed touching him. you always have to be careful when you have aviarys in the back yard either keep the aviary locked or have yourself a good guard dog.
