The tropical rainforest of the Samoan islands are home to several unique species of bird found nowhere else on earth. These Samoan endemics rely on the biodiversity of their tropical forest habitat for survival; however their very survival is far from certain as several species have declined drastically in the last decade. You can help support our research into these species, specifically the Ma'oma'o, an endangered honeyeater, by going to the website below and donating. Any support is very appreciated and helps our research immensely! www.petridish.org/projects/saving-an-endangered-bird-the-maoFor more information please check out our webiste: www.samoanbirds.com/
