Sorry to hear you've lost one of your mates Mike. Was Gwennie the one you were telling me you switched over to pellets years ago after having a liver condition?

Sorry to hear you've lost one of your mates Mike. Was Gwennie the one you were telling me you switched over to pellets years ago after having a liver condition? No,that was Taffy - who is still going strong apart from some arthritis in her feet, but she is also 19 now, as is Lacey who has no problems at all. Gwennie did switch to pellets at the same time as Taffy and the others, around 7 or 8 years ago, and Gwennie was perhaps the most successful at the swap and would prefer pellets even when seed was available. Currently Taffy and Lacey eat both in their cage and probably eat 50:50 seed and pellets, as well as the fresh food. cheers, Mike

Sorry for your loss Mike, it's sad when the old ones go after a long life. All the old birds seem to be dying I lost my 19 year old Peachface a few weeks ago too.

That is sad Mike, but I am so sure you have so many fond memories of your loved ones. They obviously had a great life to live so long. We just lost our last remaining cockatiel who we had for about 15 years. My heart goes out to you XXX
