Hi everyone,
Today, for the first time I was able to see how many babies my budgies have. Smoke (hen) wouldn't let me see into the box (side or entrance) but today she let me see through the entrance, and they have 3 babies./ They are doing well, and I hope there will not be any problems. Two already have feathers coming through- the oldest is covered in pins, and the other has them on its wings. The youngest is still covered in white down (?)- out of the three babies two have white down (?) so I am thinking that they will be Opaline and both girls (Dad is split for Opaline, it is all I know about the pair apart from their visual mutations)
I am not sure of the mothers' mutation as she looks Grey Factor, but blue shows through on her neck and around her legs. I know she is Dominate Pied, but that is about all. I will attach a photo of her, you can see the blue on her neck. I'm not sure if it chows up properly
The father is also in the picture he is a DF Violet
