Today I took this photo of a galah that was visiting in my front yard. Could someone tell me what is wrong with his feathers? Attachments:

Hi Noreen, she looks very sick!  by the looks of her beak and feathers I think she might have PBFD... if you see her again try to catch her and take her to bird shelter/avian vet, PBFD is very contagious so better to keep her away from her flock than have them all get it  . on the bright side maybe she's just the runt of the flock and got picked on, try putting out some sunflower seeds and watch to see if the others pick on her. hope this helps, Pia  |
