What bird is this? (Mataranka thermal pool)

Hi, I have been traveling through Australia the past 6 weeks and have photographed a lot of birds. Most I could find out in my guidebook or on the internet what it was, but not this one. I have spotted it in NT, near the Mataranka thermal pool. Could someone help me out, what bird this is?
