Hi i need some help with this bird ,he is about 12 yrs old where he came from the dogs were trying to eat him as he flew around the house they were boxer dogs & they stress out the bird alot he had a crooked beak from a baby looks like the mother sat on his head the top beak goe's to the right of the bottom beak & they grow like fingernail color as there is no bike to wear the beak down but he seems to eat ok but not as much as i would like too see , the people i got him off could not look after him anymore & the food seed mix they gave me had a real lot of black sunflower seeds in it , i heard that the sunflower seeds are no good for him as he has pluck out most of his feathers from the neck down & back & some of his big flight feathers also , i notice that when he clean's himself that because of hes offset beak he wreaks hes feathers even puts holes in them , i see feather on the cage floor now & then but none are growing back , is they anything i can feed him that will help , yesterday he was loving my neck & after i notice a bit of blood on my shoulder i look underneath the bird but could not see anything , i use the have & Electus parrot untill he few away last year he was a very demanding bird & bossie of me but was a lot easier to look after , this bird is a bit snobbier as he only wants to talk to you when he doe's, i am a bit worried that he is not eating enough also, thank you for any help , every body in the house calls him ugly because of his crooked beak & no feathers but i love all animals
