Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't decide where to put it.
I'm building a large cylindrical bird cage, about 1.1m high and 1.00m around. I have two large pieces of 10mm plywood. I've heard plywood is toxic to birds. If this is true, is there a safe paint or whatever that I can paint the cage with, to ensure the birds can live safely in it? It will need to be reasonably water-proof as well. I will have budgies and zebra finches.
