You will notice some new sections on the forum. The first is in the General section and is titled "Photos of your Birds" it was suggested by our Moderator HillcrestTiels and gives yus a place to put pictures of your birds up for all of us to see. The second is " What Nature Provides" in the Information section and was suggested by Love My Tiels and is proving very informative and interesting. The Third is also in the Information section and is titled "Bird Accessories", this was suggested by our Chat Room moderator BillsPets and is an ideal place to post any interesting accessories that you have and want to share with other members, Bill has started the ball rolling here with a post on a brooder and instructions on how to build it, PLEASE no FOR SALE Items here, the buy swap and sell section is for that.
My thanks to all the members that suggested these great new sections.

Looks like you have found out how to change your name Judy so that's no problem you can join up to the Nest Box under any name you like and we will be happy to see you there.
John

Hi Thanks John. Glad I found the sight. My hubby and I are bird lovers, especially of the handrared/tamed. I look forward to learning more about the forum and more about how to look after birds and all the different species. Thanks

I am having a problem which no doubt happens annually at his time of the year. I have a couple of nesting boxes set up in trees in close proximity to my residence. There are a couple of pairs of Eastern Rosella's very keen to use the boxes. However there are some Indian Mynas loitering around as well. I have tried catching them with traps etc, etc, but they are too smart. what can I do to give the parrots an edge over them, eg, toy snakes, hawks, etc. I have a feeling this may scare the parrots as well!
