Has anyone had experience with pet H/R galahs and tiels? I'm looking at getting a two yr old female but don't want any major concerns with compatability. My hubby thinks the galah will bite the tiels head off!!!

hello jacksprat as long as they are housed in seperate cages at lock up time they will be fine you will also have to watch that the galah doesnt get protective over its owner as this can happen hope this helps regards bill

i have a pet quaker and 2 pet alexs in their own cages inside the quaker and the alexs dislike each other but as they have their own cages and lots of quality time with me i can still let them out together and they just seems to respect each others space all get on well and dont bother each other but they will never be friends and i wont force the issue

you can put smaller birds with tiels, like finchews or somthing because the tiel wont hurt it (unless your tiel is aggressive) but if you put a larger bird with a tiel the larger bird will most likely hurt or fight with the tiel so dond put that galah in the same cage as your tiel!!
