I was told u can give lorikeets roses? is that true if so any can it be any type?

Well my rabbit use to eat roses and some roses are consumed by humans in salads and teas so..... I don't think they would be harmful. I'd snip the thorns off for protection but my rabbit ate them witht thorns

Yeah roses wouldnt have been one of the things i thought to feed them, but if i can its great i have around a dozen or more different colours growing in the garden lol

Roses wont harm the birds the blossems are eaten by Possums and other wildlife but be carefull and make sure you wash them befroe feeidng them to your birds, especially if you spray your roses for afid and other pests.
