Hiya Anna Im looking at possibly getting a pair of Red Collared, Scaley Breasted and a few other varieties if i can find someone close, Price wise, not too sure yet depends on what the going price is at the mo, i have heard on the quiet that Red Collared should be from about the $100-$120 mark.....Im only new to these birds so i wouldnt know myself, But a little help from a Reputable Breeder would be Fantastic, I would be in my glory....LOL Birds, BIrds BIrds everywhere.......

Hi I'm in Brisbane so I can't help with supplying, but I have one word of advice. Please make sure you buy only sexed birds. I have been caught so many times by breeders saying yes, it is definately male or female I can tell by the head or whatever and after waiting for them to breed you find you have 2 same sex birds. The problem is they act like they are a couple when they are really not. So my advice is even if they are a bit dearer it is worth it to buy sexed birds than lose a whole breeding season. Good luck hope you enjoy it, lorikeets are great, hope you have suspended aviaries, much easier to keep clean as they are messy.
