Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me. I havent ever kept rainbows before, and as you probabily know i am currently handraising two young ones (that belong to my parents) as there parents flew the coop. They are weaning at the moment, and i am concerned about the content of there faeces. Its just brown watery liquid. Now, i am assuming that this is because there diet is based around liquid wet mix. Is this normal for a rainbow lorrie??? am i worrying about nothing??? I feed them a dish of wet mix, a dish of dry lorrie maintenance powder and some fresh fruit daily.
any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Rainbow lorikeets always have very runny poos because of their diet.

It's messy stuff. I had to wash my Pajamas three times soaking in stain remover each time to get it off. But the birds are beautiful. It's a small price to pay for such a fantastic bird. Chloe.
