Have been reading all the do's and dont's on scaleys and am starting to think i have very strange little fellow in chucky. He is a very unfussy fussy eater. He will not touch his wet food if he does not have honey in it. tried all different types and the only one he likes is a shop brought normal brand. Does not like any type of fruit. He will totally ignore it unless he is in playful mood and then he just tosses it around. His eating philosophy seems to be if I eat it it must be good. he regularly gets into my herb garden and absolutely loves basil . flowers and leaves. Loves ice and if you have ice in glass he will move heaven to get into it. He is 18 months and has had a diet of everything that he should not have all that time. He is not overweight and is very healthy. Think he thinks he is human and has no interest in what birds should do. does any one else have scaley who eats everything he should not. Even have photo from bbq , turned my back and he was into my steak. Had to put him in his cage as he loved it that much that he would not let me near it.
