Yes they are................ for they have no choice..lol.. Coco was a car accident victim and the Amimal Hospital in Springvale rang me to say they operated on this Lorikeet to splinter it's wing,unfortunately it didn't mend and all Coco can do is fly 3 metres downwards. For this reason they said l can have him, for it's can't be realised into the wild At the time l had Lorrie the female which was also an accident bird.Lorrie l found in my neighbours yard with a broken wing and after a month of hospital in a cage at my place l took her out to see if she could fly...unfortunalely when she tried and jumped but her wing fell off..(necroptic tissue damage)..l have some detail images of her wing if people would like to see. Now fortunatley they are a couple ..they have even eggs in the nestbox.No success thou.

OMG her wing fell off.............that would have freaked me out until I investigated it. Glad to hear all is well now though.
