wish I had that many lories around home greg, but the horrible crows take over. We actually had a couple of male king parrots settle in the other day on the pool fence. They are such a pretty colour.

We have a family of kings come to visit us from time to time. They actually come onto our back verandah and visit my birds..........actually they eat the seed that is thrown onto the verandah. LOL
We used to have heaps of lorikeets too but I don't encourage them anymore as the noise from so many (it looked like hundreds......... ;D ) really hurt my ears and I hated cleaning all the poo up ;D ;D

we dont have many rainbows visit us here but we get quite a few scaley breasts which are gorgeous. Living out here in the country is great because we also get visits from sulfur crested 'toos, a pair of major mitchells, heaps of red rumps and 'tiels and recently i have seen a pair of red tailed 'toos in the old dead trees near our dam. Im not sure if they nested there or not but I will sure to keep a closer eye on them next season! I pick up my new digital camera next week. It has 12x zoom so hopefully I will be able to get some good pics of our visitors to share with you all PS...almost forgot to mention, we also get visits from crows and other not so noice birds...there has to be a down side to everything!!!
