Had a scare yesterday, but was surprised as well 
My Lorikeet pair Coco(male) and Lorrie(Female)decided to visit the fig tree on my fence line which is flowering now
Upon going over to bring them back the female(Lorrie,who can't fly)went next door, so l got Coco and payed a visit to the neighbours(who love birds ;D)and went in to retreive her
Upon retreiving her she was not happy me going near her as she isn't a social bird and she ran
next door within the scrubb
::)she then went behind my place...
In the mean time Coco on my shoulder was calling her (to come back
)
We then spotted her on the neighbours apricot tree were l first found her back in Feb 2006 with her broken wing...
so of l jumped in my car to visit the neighbour behind me (taking Coco for his first drive :)also
When we got there we looking in the neigbour's yard everywhere,for Lorrie and she was no were to be found?
??
After a while looking l thought the worst and went home (she is lost)........
So l came home................
When l got home to my surprise
l found Lorrie on top of her cage ::)Coco went crazy calling,jumping and she had arm's would have hugged her..lol..
She walked back ;D..l was rapt, not only she know's her way around but was good enough to come home so now when l build there new cage, l plan to trim the tree and have Coco and Lorrie share that fence with my neighbours,who are happy me doing so
Here is the tree and plan where the suspended cage is going to be built....
Also there play gym now..
