yes so true very peacefull bird arent they the blue is another beautifull bird with a disablity has a bad leg but does ok anyone know how to sex these lovely birds

The males are normaly darker them the females...But that come once muture....But a better indercation is the spattles that are on the end of the last fight feather...A spattle which I havent spelt right,looks like some one stuck a small feather on the end on another feather..Hope this helps... hello polly the male princess have a purple / violet patch on the lower back as well has red on the outer of the eyes as as well as the male is the only one to have a rounder end on the main middle tail feathers these feachers only the male gets at 1 year old here is a pic of an adult male  these same feachers are for both green as well as blue hope this helps regards bill |

hello all
polly i would say that the blue is a male by the look but i carnt give 100% garentee untill i see it from behind and i would have a guess and say that the green is a female but it is only a guess
