Hi everyone, here's a pic of Pippin the baby magpie I'm rearing. He's learning to sing at the moment, he sounds funny but adorable, he's such a character, hope you like him. Cheers, Jul

How did you come by a baby magpie to raise? we get heaps around here, and not many people like them because they attack during their breeding season, but you know I like them. We had a couple come over and sit on a big branch we set up for my birds to sit on (when wings were clipped) and I would feed them. I love it.

Hi Vankahri,, I got him from the school over the road. one of the kids brought him in and gave him to a teacher who wasn't able to look after him. My daughter said that her mum looks after maggies so he was brought over to me. My partner and I have 4 maggies and 3 kookaburras between us. My partner lives over the road from state forest so there's lots of birds and other critters being hit by cars so we get orphaned and injured birds to look after. Pollyparrot, thank you, he is lovely and so friendly, he runs over to me when he sees me coming with the food. LOL
Cheers, Jules
