Greetings all My name is Parys and i am in Adelaide, i have an adorable cockatiel called Cygy. Would anyone know any pet services that transports birds to the USA, as i will be moving over there and he has to come with me of course I would appreciate any information. Cheers Parys

As far as I know You cannot transport native australian birds out of australia. There was one acception of a lady moving to europe who after many months recieved a special permit to take her rainbow lorikeet to europe. You'll find it if you search export/import birds. I'm sure others here would know more

Thanks for reply AcaciaWattle, cockatiels are one of the 6 listed that can be taken as household pets as long as one has the legal documentation for it and is not for commercial use, this i have already checked out and was relieved to discover that. Just getting him there safe and well is the big concern and who to do it with.

Hi Parys and welcome to the forum I know of a friend who went overseas to live and took his cat with them.
