Its interesting your budgies keep the wood shavings/chip in their nest. Mine would dig it all out until the nest is empty.

I only have one budgie that does that an she still not lay any interesting (this mean she was laying some eggs but 2 or 3 was on bottom of cage, the others (about 2 or 3) in nest but never sat on them she broke them

Yes it's suposed all are cobalt blue, but in diferents ways example: Females opalin someone violet yelowface I SF Yelowface II SF Grey wings black marks
I liked very much this pair, I thought separe them an make an other pairs but I love so many colors in only one clutch and also both are very good parents.

I didn't wrote because I was very sad and very angry.
Female one day atacked a baby and Sr cara amarilla and killed them, and also atacked an other baby that died a week later, so I separed she to an other cage and hand rised the babys until them eat alone.
Now I now that if I want she make and other clutch (and I want because she give violet burgies)I have to separete she from family when she begins to sleep out nest.
