Natalie, you will only see thier pink bits if they get frightened by an itsy bitsy spider, it's only then, when they streak across open spaces, that the pink bits become visable Hope this helps, Tony ;D

Ozziebirds Daily Ozziebirds Daily reporters have uncovered once again another breeder that is bending the gene factor. A Mr.Fischer from the Kempsey area has been found advertising his birds on a local Sydney bird chat site. This Bird Forum in the last few days has been monitored and reporters have noted that Mr.Hillcrest has been posting messages along with and too Mr.Fischer. It seems that the members of this forum are a very tightly knit group and all who have been contacted by way of post messages have denied the existence of said birds or the fact that Mr.Budgee who has been missing has also been posting to the same site. Reporters of The Ozziebird Daily knowing full well how smart the members were, that they had downloaded once again another photo before it and it’s post was removed from the forum. Ozziebirds Daily reporters called in to see Mr.Fischer at his residents and found Mr.Fischer in his back yard sunning his pink bits and surrounded by aviaries full of all types of birds, but on investigation the said birds were not discovered. When Mr.Fischer spoke to our reporters he denied that he was up to anything and new nothing about Mr.Budgee or his where abouts. Polly Parrot one of the reporters who interviewed Mr.Fischer said she did not trust the man, she new he was up to something. “Anyway how hard do you think it is to interview someone when there sunning their pink bits” Polly said. Attached is Mr.Fischers new gene bender. img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-10/869865/BF-pic.jpg

I am reporting to you from Cyber Space I have boldly gone where no man has gone before and I have to tell you that Mr Fischer and Mr Hillcrest have sent thier mutation birds with me and at this time we are attempting to cross breed them, we hope to come up with a very large bird that perches where ever it wants too, and chirps with a very deep chirp, I will keep you posted on the results. ;D I have also been informed that Mr Fischer has all the inside information on pink bits and will be posting at a later date, WATCH THIS SPACE for further developments. Thankyou for that letter from Cyberspace Mr Budgee, Mr Fischer has also contacted me and wants me to clear up one item in this scurrilous attack on your reputations by the so-called Ozziebirds Daily, a newspaper that makes totally groundless and vicious accusations on a regular basis it seems. the three of you are doing valuable genetic work, and because of the continued attacks from the gutter press, you have had to retreat to Cyberspace to accomplish it. Sorry, I digress, in the latest scribblings from this Journalist, and I use that term in the loosest sense, she accused Mr Fischer of publicly displaying his pink bits to a junior reporter, this is a gross missinterpretation of the facts, and to prove this I have enclosed a picture of the pink bits Mr Fischer was innocently sunning. Yours (speaking for Mr Fischer) Tony ;D ;D img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-11/897000/MrFischersPinkBits.jpg

It also occurs to me that there is likely to be some confusion with my name and that of Mr Fischer, I would like to make this quite clear now. While we share the same name , we are not the same person , and never have been, we are not related and never have been, nor are we ever likely to be in the future. I do, however, support the genetic work of Mr Budgee and Mr Hillcrest and of course Mr Fischer, they are doing incredible work with cross-species, all with the ultimate aim of producing a bird capable of protecting our avian friends from any threat to them. I'm not convinced that the cross budgie/cat is a good idea, it could have slight problems in an avian situation, this will be proved with further testing, but it won't be tested on my bird's, because of these doubts. I do think the cross budgie/bulldog a great innovation and has endless possabilitys as a guard/bird/dog in our aviaries, It dosn't really matter that the poops are a little bigger than a normal bugie poop, or, if by chance that you are hit by one when the bird/dog is in full flight, that the poop can and probably will knock you unconscious, these are little problems compared to the obvious benefits of this cross species. As long as proper breeding procedures are maintained, and the temprement of both species is taken into account, I can't see a problem. If temprement is ignored it could be a little tricky, we could end up with aviaries full of cranky cross/budgie/bulldogs, wich could make even the simple tasks of birdkeeping just a bit harrowing. Thats all I have to say, for the moment. Cheers Tony ;D

Sounds about perfect to me! I'll have half a dozen! I don't want to wear one out too soon with all the kids and lawns and such that need attention round here. Do they also get husbands moving as well or would that require special training! Even one that knows how to guard the remote control would be a good start!LOL Jo-Anne
