Hi guys!
I'm from the USA, so I am totally clueless when it comes to what Aussies keep as pet parrots. So with that said, I was wondering do y'all keep Keas as pets? If so, I was just wondering the cost and can you have them in the same house with smaller birds.

I've never heard of anyone keeping them though that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Aren't keas the meat eating parrots? I know they're from New Zealand, I saw a David Attenborough doco about them and some other NZ birds.

Can't say I've ever heard or read anything about them in Australia sorry. I'm sure they're the parrots in NZ that we were warned will chew the windscreen wipers of your car if you leave it in a park for too long. LOL

LOL Jane, yep, I've seen a friends holiday pics where there was a pair of keas on the bonnet of their car. ;D No damage luckily but if they'd left it any longer to get to the car then there might have been,
