Maybe getting a male canary

i was speaking to one of my brothers yesterday (I have 8 to pick from) ;D and he told me he has bred a few canaries and cockatiels this year, or actually last year. I "told" him (did not ask) that I would LOVE a male canary. I had one many years ago and his name was Songa (because he could sing ;D ). so I am hoping I might get one some time this year................maybe an easter present, or mothers day present, or birthday present ..........wedding anniversary etc etc etc. My brother has heaps of occassions to pick from even if they are not really to do with him. LOL I am his only sister (and his favourite too). My mother gave birth to 9 children and i am the eldest and the only girl. ;D That should mean something heh!!!!

Yes I think you would be the favourite sister, being the only girl with all those brothers to take care and look after you growing up. I bet you looked after them also growing up. I am also from a large family 6 girls and 6 boys and it was great.
