Yep told hubby he will now have to fix the small hexagonal cage I have out the back.........so I can put canaries..................and that is just the beginning.......mmmwaahhhhaaaa (evil laugh.......in case it was not evil enough lol )

Sounds like you are getting the canary bug Tracey they are really sweet little birds but the babies are the ugliest things in the world when they are first hatched ........oh well the end result is fantastic and you will get hooked on them very quickly.

I can vaguely remember what they look like when my father used to breed them. I have always liked them .............but really like my bigger birds too.

That is the problem with birds isn't it? There are sooooo many lovely bird breeds out there. I saw some young male Hooded parrots for sale on the weekend, they were a great colour but if I got one it would need a wife, and Hoodeds are antisocial so I'd need another avairy etc etc just as well I have some self control. (not really I was there buying a young blue scarlet oops)

Jane that's one thing I don't have when it comes to birds, I try to leave my wallet at home when i go to the bird shop.

Yes I would love a few different birds too, but probably can't at the moment...........but who knows.

no some birds are "ugly" Jules...............but only us birdie lovers seem to find them attractive. Like baby cockatoos. LOL
