Don't think it matters which colour. I had a red one as that was all that was available. By all means give the othes chillies if they'll eat them. My budgies & conures only ever nibbled the chillies, it was the kaks who were crazy about them.

Thanks. My husband is off to town tomorrow to buy some materials to make me a brooder box, I'll see if I can talk him into buying me a plant as well. Will it be OK left in a pot? Our soil here is pretty crappy, and I find it hard to grow anything.

He may not find any plants at this time of year, if not then in spring. There's a cool one called thai chilli which gets chillies in red, green, orange, purple ;D

Yeah, mine was in a pot - we've got clay soil so nothing like that grows. Love your siggy Meandem! I was fiddling on my computer the other day, and that is what I came up with. I am constantly teaching myself new things on the computer. Sometimes I am shocked with what they can actually do..............and what I can do.

Cool, just amending the shopping list. (It gets rather large after nearly three weeks).
The program was Ulead Cool 3D. Fairly basic - that about sums me up. I love to fiddle and learn new things on the computer. I use my husbands laptop to connect to the internet, but I have my own Desktop Computer where I do all my experimenting. I have taught myself so many different things, as I said, I am amazed at what we (me and the computer) can do. I bought the Bird Database programme of Ebay, and received it in the mail the other day, after looking at, I have learnt that it was created on Microsoft Access, so now I am looking further into that and trying to teach myself how to make my own programme and set it up the way that suits us.

The program was Ulead Cool 3D. Ooh I think I've got that at home I'll have to check it out since I'm internet-less there now. (hmmm not coping well with no internet at home and it's only been one night )

Keep your chin up. We are all thinking of you, at least we have some contact. I only get on every now and then, so sometimes it feels like I don't have the interent. Talking to you all is such an addiction. I can't wait to get back on here and check out all the exciting news from everyone. Ulead Cool 3D is fairly basic, I do have a few other programs but that was the easiest to use. The actual pic of all the birds together I created in Paintshop. I just made it animated with the words in Ulead Cool. Hope that makes sense, I'm not real good at explaining myself ; Let me know if you don't have it, maybe I could try and make you something up - just let me know what you would like.

Yes, you need a quiet day to look at new programs, no noise (which is rare around here). Azizi's cage is right behind my computer table. I am so easily distracted!
