Hi all Now that ALL my birds have fully converted to pellets (yep, even the ringnecks...yay ;D )...I would still like to offer them seed from time to time. What I have been doing, is mixing a bit of seed with their morning veggies (not every day - just some days). So I was wondering, is this ok to do and is it safe?? "Safe" refering to....the fact that the seeds are in moisture (from the veggies) could they perhaps start to sprout a little and therefore start releasing those dangerous chemicals (I think it was carbon ? dunno ) that could harm the birds - and thats why (I read) is the reason why you're meant to regularly & often, rinse the sprouting seeds - so as to wash out those releasing dangerous chemicals? Thankyou, for any info you may have...it's probably a stupid question but I just thought I'd better check. Thanks all ;D

I've not heard of the releasing dangerous stuff thing, but I think the only issue would be Mould but you'd have to remove the vegies before that anyway so I can't see a problem
