I've noticed my blue ringneck bites his nails. Well atleast thats what it looks like. I haven't noticed any damage on his toenails or toes but sometimes he looks, as if he was trying to trim the ends of the nails, with his beak. Is this normal behaviour? thanks

Erik does it already. Dont worry about it. Takoda also likes to chew on his ring around his leg. He really gives it a serious chew too.

Trouble and Anath are both big 'feet preeners'. It's nothing I've worried about, they're just picky when it comes to their feet - which is more than I can say for Trouble and his feathers sometimes, the slacker.

Yep, ditto.
All my birds bite their nails. I think they take the sharp tips off when they do it. The birds that I have to trim the most are the nuns, their nails grow at a rapid rate.
