lol you sound just like I was when my Lories laid their first egg this year, I was almost going to place an announcement in the local paper! lol. Exciting isn't it? You are lucky that they are staying on the eggs so well. My girl was out more than in and I didn't think the eggs would hatch, but they did. Good luck that you will have bubs very soon.

yeah I know that feeling too.........I was just so over the moon and shocked when Skye layed her first eggs and then when Erik hatched out of the second clutch (the first clutch were infertile).......and even more so when I realised he was a boy.
Congratulations and hopefully there will be more eggs and some bubs soon.

Well done and a big congrats all round.
Great to see they are great protective parents.
My lories do a lot of squarking and squeeling, but don't bother too much about me going in. When the bubs have just hatched is when the parents are at their worst.
Raising lories is so much fun. They are the easiest birds I have handraised so far, (I raise ringnecks normally). The last lot of rainbow chicks I took from the nest was when they were around 4.5 weeks of age. And to tell you the truth, they are no different in tameness as the first clutch I took at just over 2 weeks of age.
You are goning to have a lot of fun with these guys. Very sweet, loveable, and entertaining little birds. Hard to give them up!
