Thanks for this mickp. I have read abot a catcus plant that would be good for small birds like lovebirds.But can't find anymore about that. Lovely to see the finches flying amongst the grasses and trees. Best Robert and Precious

there is a type of aloe vera plant that is safe for birds. cant remember the latin name for it though. it is growing in my aviary and the finches eat a little from time to time.

I had beautiful Aloe Vera plants growing in my aviary up the yard. After the kakariki and then the rosella's in there I have nothing in there now. They ate the lot!
