Hey I am looking for a bird/s that would able to live in an avairy with cockatiels, budgies and priness parrots(not essential to live with these). I would prefer it too be able to live with the stated birds but I wouldn't mind just for inside, as my plan would be to H/R a baby and make it a companion. It couldn't be much bigger than a sulphur-crested cockatoo(although I wouldn't be able to get one, too loud). I wouldn't want something too loud, because of neighbours. I would be able to spend at most $600 or maybe a little bit over. They would also have to be able to colony breed with the other birds. I am only 14, so age isn't really a matter. Also, this isn't just a trend as I have always had my own bird since I was 5 years old, and have been breeding birds since about 10. It would preferably be something smart, a good companion and a good talker. So could you please just suggest an Australian parrot, as I want to have the right parrot. Thanks, locky

There are a few different species you could have in with your birds. Supurbs, Kings, regents, etc would go well. I wouldnt put cockatoos in. What size is the aviary? It will depend on this also.

Problem is alot of Australian Parrots don't colony breed well and many will fight to the death to protect their mate come breeding season.
