I was at the Dr and had to wait so I read an article in the National Geographic from March 2008 about Animal Behaviour and especially comprehension. They were talking about Alex, the African Grey who could differentiate that when you showed him a green key and a green bowl and asked what's different, he would say 'shape' and if you asked what's the same, he would say 'colour'. I found the website and found it really interesting! www.alexfoundation.org/index2.htmlWhat I also found interesting was that the article said that none of the animals ever invented anything like we humans did. To me personally, that shows me how smart they are because they can enjoy life and don't have to go to work, pay off houses ect.
