Tracey ... not sure if you've connected the 2 but the person on the eckie forum with the biting/screaming male eckie is the same person Robyn is talking about just thought i'd connect the two

Thanks Lisa. Yep Tracey Knows. Toby's new Mum is doing a great job with him. I have had him for 24 hours now and not a problem at all. But i think this bird is pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. He is one clever little dude. And already saying a few words.

We are now at the end of the 2nd day with Toby and i can not fault this bird. He has been perfect, is eating everything i give him. Comes out for cuddles, goes to bed without dramas. Is hardly vocal at all, just the normal chatter they carry on with. And i haven't been bitten either. Although i did notice when a lady called yesterday to pick up a sunny, she had her 2 sons with her, as soon as they approached Toby's cage he got very nervous. But calmed down as soon as they all left. I wonder if, because Toby was raised without any contact with little people {KIDS} until he went to his new home, would that be why he bites.

Sometimes I think they try to bluff people and I have to wonder if his new family were scared of him and his big beak?? They possibly reacted nervously around him and when trying to interact with him and he has probably learned to lunge and bite because they have "allowed" it ....... even if it was unintentionally???
