They are bigger than a budgie about the same size as a Tiel a little smaller, they love human company and are a great companion bird. They eat the same as a Tiel and love company

Dear or dear I think we are going to confuse her more . To tell the truth there are so many nice birds that will make good companion birds that do get on well with tiels. Bourke parrots are another one. They are non aggresive very quiet, have a nice little chirping noise they make but don't talk as far as I know & make good h/reared birds that tend to get on well with most birds. They are about the size of Budgies & are absouletly gorgeous, especially the rosa bourkes & eat the same kind of food as tiels. I still rekon you should get another tiel & another cage LOL as you know how to look after them but we are here to corrupt you more ;D ;D ;D. Cheers Anna

Yep Bourkes are great but can be a bit touchy as far as health is concerned. You would get a Red Rump from a breeder and I just happen to know one .....me ;D but they dont start to breed until August, September and I'm sure you dont want to wait 'till then.

Okay as far as pics go I have a very crappy digital camera that takes lousy pics. There are a couple of spare baby tiels at the moment. They are all about 3 months old. One is definately a male who calls himself Yonk LOL & he whistles & talks already & is very sweet but independent as far as males goes. The female is again 3 months old & a lutino pied, and one very sweet cinnamon pearl pied female nest sexed who just loves being with people & just loves her head sratches. I know the lutino pied is definately female as one of my older tiels a male naughty boy is trying to mount her. There are also some normals but what I call split for pied, but only a couple of them I know are males as they are making the male noises. But also listen to John too if he has some h/reared red rumps as I won't be in Sydney till around the 23/4 & sounds like you need a new bird ASAP LOL Cheers Anna

oh that boy sounds GORGEOUS!! he talks already..wow....
I like the yellow tiels better..so lutino or pied or a light cinammon..i'm not sure if these are what you mean..i don't really know what pied is lol
i think 2 cages will be best for me....that way there will be no problems..i hope... coz i might get stuck with them picking on each other...or having babies..and argh..too hard..

Oh bugger I forgot to put what the male is. He is at the moment a yellow laced wing pearl but unfortunately the males loose their pearling as they get older, which will make him more grey later on with yellow in him. The reason that he is talking & whistling early is that he is with my other pets, 5 male tiels & 3 indian ringnecks with 1 indian ringneck talking his head off plus all the males whistle & talk. So problem solved I think. Get another bird & another cage lol. Cheers Anna

He will be a combination of grey with yellow on his wings & bits of yellow on his back & a yellow head when he hits maturity. When he & his sister were smaller they made a noise that sounded like Yonk & hubby kept repeating it & nows he says hello Yonk. A very strange name I know but it fits his personality. But he is a male with a mind of his own lol & hubby is just starting to train him to go back into his cage from our hand. He is a real chatterbox & picking up new words everyday. But on saying that I still prefer my h/reared females, they are so cuddly & sooky. Well I'm off for a nanny nap, & it was a pleasure talking to you. Don't think I helped much more confused you lol, but keep us posted as to your decision. Cheers for now Anna
