It looks like some sort of hummingbird. Thats all i can say, sorry if its found in australia it could possibley be a rainbow bee eater although they are more blue than green and their tail streamers are a lot longer than that. I think it would probably be found in america.

i agree with jack it is a bee eater, im not quite sure what species but looks like a european bee eater i kind of remember cause i was just at jurong bird park in singapore and they had something like the one pictured, but yer, defiantly not the australian version but, hope thats of help
