vankarhi reminded me that I have been in absentia LOL
Don't know how long it's been since I dropped out of sight, so much has happened and I have been so busy I rarely (if ever) have time to even glance at bird boards anymore!
I am almost completely out of budgies, having sold or given them all away.
I still have Queen Boris the ratbag bossing me around. She is, I dunno 5.5yo now? and still boss of the house.
I am almost full on breeding red rumps now as they are so easy.
Lost my beautiful albino hen a few months ago, died during winter. Got 2 clutches from her which I am happy about.
2 of her girls are cinnamon and both are breeding.
Although I had to remove the 2 babies from 1 and give to the other as her and her partner were not feeding them and they were half the weight they should have been.
When I opened the box to give the babies to her sister, I found an albino chick! WOOHOO so I am getting an albino back! The father is blue so I am guessing the albino to be a hen.
of my recently fledged babies I have (at this stage) what looks like a lime, some normals (I love normals) and a LUTINO hen!!! Never have I bred a lutino so I am super happy at that.
I will try and get on here some more, have missed reading about everyone's fids.
