Well has the little guy grown, think he is about 11 to 12 weeks old now. His temp., nome for the moment is Jack-in-the-box because he is in & out of his box 100 times a day. At 1 day old. This is when he/she was 8 weeks old. The last one i took tonight.

You must have been reading my mind Robyn, I was only thinking about the little fella the other day and I was going to ask you about him. It feels so long since I have been on here and caught up with everyone. He has grown into quite the little charmer! They really have lovely gentle faces for a bigger bird. Thumbs up to you Robyn, "Jack-in-the-box" is stunning

I have really enjoyed caring for this little guy. He hasn't been one once of trouble so far but the weaning stage is just ahead of me, that can be a little drawn out.
These birds are so gentle, he is starting to play with a few toys & he already knows the step-up command. So clever. When he hears my voice he starts calling.
Don't think Donna & Gil are getting him back. I know Hubby wants to keep him. In the mean time i will enjoy having this special little fellow around.
Not to sure about the name though, but sometimes nic names stick. Like Precious my male eclectus. I don't think he really likes his name because he won't say it. Calls everyone else's name. Oh well what's in a name anyway.

Well this little guy is weaned finally. I do have a mega problem though. This little sweetie has been offered to me as payment for all my help & hand rearing services i do for the owner. I think i have decided i really don't think i can part with him/her. What a cuddle bug it has turned out to be & oh so very independant I might add. Very well behaved & no bad habits. Sounds like a dream bird to me.

Oh, Robyn! What a wonderful 'payment'! He/she is obviously a very special bird - part of your family.
