Gidday, I live in outback Queensland and am interested in the beautiful wild birds of Australia. I also have an interest in flying, photography, gardening, cooking (sometimes!!), travelling, animals and our place Kilcowera. I have been learning a lot about birds over the last 10 years from the birding community who have visited our place. All the best, cheers zenonie. Attachments:

Hello & welcome. What an interesting place you must live.
I used to love going camping out west when our kids were small.

Our place is 1000 kms straight west of Brisbane. Kilcowera is on the Dowling Track, halfway between Thargomindah and Hungerford which is on the NSW & QLD border. It's an easy 2 day drive from Sydney or Brisbane.
Going to be a hot one here today, it got up to 45 y'day and I had lots of birds hanging around my garden in the bird baths and under the sprinklers including orange chats, rufous whistlers, mulga parrots and a crested bell bird. Regards Zenonie
