Hello,
I have a bit of a pest issue. This bird wakes me up at 4:30am every day and I am hoping someone can help me scare it away. I have tried banging the tree it is in and this worked for 2 days but it is no longer a solution as I do not believe the bird is afraid of me any more. I took a recording on the bird call, it is like an alarm that never turns off. Please help. You can listen to it below. Please identify the species and send me a distress call for the species. Any advice is helpful. I live in Hawthorn, Melbourne, Victoria.
