Help!! I think I'm allergic to my birds

My partner bought me some lovebirds for Valentines Day and I think I'm allergic.
I'm getting hayfever like symptoms but I'm not allergic to cats or dogs.
When I leave the house, it gets better.

What can I do??
Or do I not have another option, other than to give them away?
