i HAVE A budgie with a broken Breast bone/plate what are the chances of it living ?

I have a cockatiel that damaged breast bone at about 9wks old (breeder cut wings too severe & it just kept crashing to the floor every time it tried to fly !!!) Dodgie (c'tiel) is now a fantastic partner & dad to many chicks, he is now 3yrs old & even though u can still see damaged b/bone, he is fine. I suppose it depends on how much damage is there. Is ur budgie doing alright & for how long has it been broken?

thanks for your help we are not to sure but the vet is doing a x ray today to see how badly it is broken .
