i feel it is time to confess.....

ok i thought it was time i let my secret bird addiction out.....

all my birds were aquired from lies, cheating, and manipulating and plain playing dirty to get what i want.....

1st was the ducks....a few years ago i rang partner up to say i was buying ducks he said no so i hung up on him and bought them anyways.... which has now turned into a whole yard of him breeding them.....

2nd was sunny the green budgie... i told my partner all these stories about how much a 1 yr old kid REALLY REALLY needs a pet to learn about caring for animals and nature. as soon as we got the bird home i claimed it as mine.

3rd was the grey budgie tweet-tweet. i told my partner sunny needed a friend because budgies need there own species to be happy and because we were on holidays at the time tweet-tweet needed a really big cage so sunny and him could live together in luxury because i said sunnys cage was too small for 2 budgies now.... ;D

4th was dusty the cockatiel... he was supose to be a birthday present for my son because i had taken the budgies and claimed them as mine... but now my son never gets a chance to see dusty he is always with me !!!

now for the 5th we have flutter the white budgie.... we were at the pet shop looking at the fish and i walked off to look at aviarys and budgies.... i BEGGED and BEGGED my partner to buy me one... he said no and walked away... so i got the shop assistant to get me the white budgie anyways and when we were at the counter i yelled... OI MATT pay for my bird he is ready in his box to go.... my partner couldnt say no because the bird was all packed up ready to go and the shop man waiting for his money.....hehehehehe im so evil.

and now i have convinced my partner the budgies need a aviary (which i am getting for my birthday inthe new years !!!!! cant wait !!!!!!

in the mean time i have told partner flutter needs a female friend because sunny and tweet-tweet have hooked up and flutter is all loanly so he needs a friend too.... so the search continues for a friend for him.....

and when i get my aviary.,.. guess what.... im going to need more birds because it will look empty with only 4 budgies in it !!! partner has given up saying NO MORE birds because i obviously dont listen..... i think i am in the early days of a serious problem.... i hope it gets worse...LOL

next year i will work on a aviary for some rosellas...
ohhhhhh when will it end........ hopefully never....

well flutter died the other day and to cheer me up my partner took me to look at some aviarys so i can pick one that i want and he can get it later... well guess what he already payed and bought it for me and it will be here in 3-4 weeks !!!!
and also he bought me home a ringneck too.... i've trained him well , he is bringing them home now for me!!!

and he isnt objecting to me talking about all the budgies i want for my aviary ! ;D

he has finally given in and is now SUPPORTING my bird addiction !

Heh heh heh, way to go mummybird. I started off with one aviary that was here when we moved here and know I have quite a few and another ready for construction. I think I have hubby converted too. ;D ;D ;D. Cheers Anna

Your partner sounds like mine, he has given up saying we have too many birds. When I suggest buying another he just rolls his eyes. Believe me your addiction will never end.

guess what i got today.... another 2 budgies... our aviary will be here in a week and will prolly take 2-3 days to set up so in the mean time i am filling my quaranteen cages....lol and partner did complain but i said the aviary will look stupid with only 2 birds in it so he said whatever and i got these two babie spangles which the guy said were crosses with the english budgie hence why the were so much bigger than my other two. their names are jo-jo the female sky blue spangle and big-grey the grey spangle... my son is going to be so happy about the new birds when he gets back from his grandmas house. ( he loves his budgies)

these two birds are so young and friendly we let them out for a fly before we put them into the cages to see how they were with their flying and big grey landed right on my leg and let me cuddle him and scratch him and he fell alseep snuggled into my partners lap and then i picked jo-jo up and she is happy to be held too she was eating seeds from my hand and also fell asleep next to big-grey on my partners lap. they are so sweet im so pleased with them specially after our loss of our much loves flutter.

hi tracy i just peeked at your web site your pics are adoreable and your little boy is sooo cute i know it took me ages t look but it was so worth the wait:)
