Here's a review of the toys I got recently, and a video of Trouble using one.
Vine Rings
Trouble ignored these for the better part of the week, but today has decided that they are awesome. He has three in his cage at the moment and has been having great fun throwing them out of his foot toy containers, running down and pulling them off the bottom of the cage up onto a perch, chewing them and then taking them in a foot, very carefully holding them off the perch and dropping them to hear the fantastic clunk noise they make when they hit the bottom.
They're also great distractors for when he's out with me and getting a bit too excitable - we can use them to play 'tug of war' as well, which he enjoys.
Foraging Folly (large size)
Wow, this thing is huge. It has so much on it too, it's an incredible-looking toy. Trouble is still a bit uncertain of it (it moves!) but has enjoyed pulling some of the popsicle sticks out, and finding some treats I hid in the bamboo fingertraps. It's also a great place to wait for headscratches when I'm near the cage. Once he gets more used to it I believe it will become a great playground for him.
Disks Galore
Wow, Trouble loves this toy. I've yet to catch him using it because he's sneaky, but considering the decimation that's already been delivered (at least two disks are at a point where they are no longer really able to be chewed any further already) he certainly gets a lot out of it. I actually chose this toy because he likes leather, not because he's a huge chewer but the softness of the wood used in the disks has really allowed him to cause some damage, which he's delighted in. It's also one that he enjoys cuddling, and you can often see him leaning back against it in the hour or so before he puts himself to sleep.
Foraging Carousel
This toy is pretty impressive. It's actually built for larger birds than Trouble is, so it's an 'out of cage with supervision' toy because I'm a little worried about him catching a foot in one of the doors and hurting himself. Trouble really enjoys it though - he gets to sit on my lap with it while I'm watching TV and try to figure it out, and (eventually) get some food from it (with a little help from Mum). I have no doubt that given more time he'll have at least a couple of the compartments figured, but right now he needs that little bit of help, so it's a great one for us to spend time together doing.
Foraging Wheel
This is from the same company I believe as the one who does the Foraging Carousel. It's also designed for a slightly bigger bird than Trouble I believe, but that hasn't deterred him! Initially this toy was scary - it took me a couple of days to get him comfortable with it being within sight, and another few to get him exploring it. However, as of today he's decided that it's interesting, especially because it holds food! He's started to get a hang of how to go about getting at what he wants, and I'm sure he'll have a good technique down soon.
This one I'm happy to let him have in the cage unsupervised, because there's not much chance given the design of him catching himself in any of the parts. It fits together well and is easy to load, but I'll probably get a slightly longer bolt at some point as getting the nut on with my fingernails the length they are can be a little tricky, and Trouble enjoys my fingernails too much for me to cut them just to get a nut onto a bolt. ;D
